My interest for the arts began at a very young age. In fact, when I was in the third grade, my teacher gave me a 100 in penmanship, and that marked the start to my artistic career. In the past, art used to be the greatest way to express creativity with legends like Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, and so on. But, I have come to realize that in today's society, we no longer have as great an appreciation for the arts as we once did. And, this is in part to the fact that modern art is nowhere near as intriguing as classical art. I mean, the fact that "art" entails a banana being taped to the wall is simply sad. What is even more sad is the fact that this creation was sold for $12,000,000. The problem is not that Though I am certain there may be some meaning behind this quote unquote "masterpiece," I think it is time we revive classical art. And, that is one of my biggest goals in creating this platform. The concept of selling my art arose one night when I had just concluded my first, original sketch. As I stared at it, intrigued by its bizarreness, I thought perhaps there would be others out there who might appreciate my unique work. However, the whole charity aspect of the website is credited to my mother. After I told her about my plans, she told me I should donate all the money to an organization I resonated with, and I obliged, which brings me here. Welcome to the first of many blogs. I just wanted to share my background story and thank whoever it is that is currently reading this!
